Normally just holding your phone it can get a bit tiring plus i generally look awful because of poor lighting etc thats probably not the main reason anymore lolso this has one arm to hold your phone and then two ring lights on seperate arms

Theres a hard wired controller for these settingslastly you get a little remote so you can connect to your phone by bluetooth to control your phone eg to take a photo start stop a video

I suppose that makes it robust it seems to be built very solidly despite the flexibility of the arms ive found getting it back in the box is pretty impossible so it isnt stored tidily

The main use will be video calls i dont do make up or selfies so i wasnt greatly attracted by the advert

The only issue is that it makes a whining sound sometimes depending on the brightness setting
