My 9 yr old rescue has been through * so i do whatever i can to keep her comfortable. My vet recommended adding glucosamine to her daily diet to help rebuild and lube the joint to keep it from getting worse. My dogs love the tablets!
It is a chewable tablet which she loves to gobble up. My 10 yo weimaraner lena takes to the tablets like a snack. Now he gets excited about taking it and no peanut butter needed.
Cons
A total waste of money, such a bummer. I have to break it into 4 seperate pieces and hide them in cheese which is way too much cheese for a small french bulldog. I am sorry to say that that it didn't seem to help my maggie much.

Then she tore the other knee which the vet said was common because she was now compensating with it

I started using this with cricket because she was really slowing down a lot especially in the evenings totally dragging
