This bed is super soft and cushy. My leonberger likes it because she does not overheat like she does on a regular foam bed. This rug is so thick and cushiony.

Bought this pad to go with an xxl dog crate. Our 8 yr old great pyr loves it and we think it is easier on his joints than most other crate mats. Bought for my huskies crate.

My rottie likes to lay on it. Their dog usually lays on a blanket. I am tickled.

The bed fits in our wash machine and washes well even if you use bleach. The covering is easy to run a sweeper over and keep clean. I wish this came with a removable cover, like the thick pad has.

My dogs love this bed/mat. My sugar like them for their crates and the neck of the jeep in hot florida. I have an older dog that has trouble getting up on the tile floors.

It is a thin, soft-ish mat for my dog, there is zero cooling effect. It is not washable whatsoever.
