You can see and feel the texture on the blue and green sharpening cards but the red colored medium grit card doesnt seem to have much texture at all

Of course with modern tool steel you have to use diamond sharpening tools anyway as stones arent hard enough

Ive got a full set of water stones when im going to formally sharpen my woodworking tools but if im in a pinch and need to sharpen a knife or tool when im not able to set up my stones theres nothing as compact as this small set of sharpeners
