Each slot is controlled independently so you can charge any combination at the same time some only allow charging in pairs of the same type

But this charger can do much more like test the true current capacity of the cell discharge the cell to allow a full charge cycle and even recondition the cell if it is not working wellnot tried that myself yet

This confused me at first but i get it now since i noticed the different unit of measurement eg

But theres no backlight animations or audible alarms to alert when a cycle has completed

The instructions are not great but if you spend a few minutes going through the buttons and settings it is fairly self explanatory with the batteries in place first select a battery using button 14 when a battery is selected its display will flash then select the function you want using the mode button and if you are charging the battery select the charging current using the current button
