I thought maybe it was the fault of the battery but my tech guy said it was probably the fault of the charger that there was something of an interruption in the cord and the result was that the cord was carrying enough power to power the computer but not enough to charge the computer

My brother ordered this for me for the first time and it lasted about 2 years it is not an original dell charger hence i didnt expect it to last that long
