It sticks up slightly but the case will still close if you press down gently

My biggest complaint is the koozam badge on the side of the case was glued on slightly crooked which will drive me nuts

It is of good quality otherwise but have one grip could of used a patch of velcro at the top of the webbing inside as anything in there slides out when you open it to get your drone out

The only issue and others have mentioned it also is that the batteries fit real loose this my be by design for proper cooling the phantom 3 battery automatically discharges if left charged which creates heat

The case came in the usual tight fitting chinese box with no protection place inside a large box with filler
