This fetoscope does work, it’s just that you truly have to pinpoint where the heart is and practically hold your breath to hear it.

Not sure this would be helpful unless you’re far enough along that the baby isn’t moving all over the place every day, because it would take forever to find the hb and you’d easily get discouraged.

If used correctly, you can hear the baby's heartbeat.

I think the negative reviews come from people's inability to listen correctly.

You have to carefully find the right spot on the belly, and remember: the fetal heartbeat is very faint and sometimes you have to hold your own breath for a few seconds and concentrate to hear it.

After watching a youtube video on how to use a fetoscope, it didn't take too long to find my baby's heartbeat (at thirty weeks) after i knew to listen for a watch ticking under a pillow.

Listening to the fetal heartstarting at around 20 weeks, the fetal heartbeat can usually be heard without doppler amplification (ultrasound).
