Heres the deal you can get a better speaker one thats louder with higher sound quality and maybe a bit better battery life but you are going to have to pay way more

If your looking for superb sound quality youre going to need to spend a lot more but this little guy is great for a super portable affordable rechargeable durable speaker with sound quality thats great for voice podcasts npr etc and passable but not stellar for music

To change music all i have to do is set my recorded favorites to shuffle rather than select the radio stations or even as another reviewer mentioned to play books or podcasts

I would note that when setting it up on the bluetooth the bluetooth asked me if i wanted to recognize the head phones rather than calling it a speaker
