Tried chromecast but that relies on having a constant wireless connection but the network in work would never allow that

The vcastdoesnt rely on an internet connection so i can stay connected to any ssid i like on my phone while mirroring the screen

If you have a tv with an hdmi imput and a computertabletphone with widi miramax or a number of wireless based programs you can view the screen content of those devices on your television
