The box came in perfect condition the monitor was in perfect condition no dead pixels the little black remote comes in very handy for functions like power onoff volume updown input switching mute all the controls and adjustments i dont really care about the beat audio hype but the the builtin speakers sound decent not fantastic but better than builtin speakers on any monitors ive listened to the picture looked ok at 1080 using the hdmi cable but looked great at 1440 when i switched to displayport cable

I did not want one of the larger 34 with the 219 aspect ratio as it wouldnt solve my vertical height problem the hp screen height is approx 15

Its fine if you want to mount the monitor on the wall but you have to remove the stand if you want to use it which means there is no way you can use the monitor on the stand and use the vesa mount to attach a mini computer such as intels nuc or gigabyte brix kinda disappointed with that but not enough to remove a star

Editi was able to figure out how to a custom display resolution for the intel hd 4000 via the custommodapp
