However they are made in india are all cotton and seem large for a placemat until you wash them

They shrink about 12 inches in width after washing them in the washing machine and putting them in the dryer so they are more like a normal size placemat

I took them out of the dryer while they were still damp and them ironed them dry to flatten them out
