Update - the design looks a bit flawed after prolong use.

The brushed aluminum central plate has very thin gap with the outer plastic and there is dust/food/liquid accumulation over period in this gap.

The display window is flat, when large plate used display impossible to see.

One thing i did not expect is that the entire surface of the scale is the weighing platform, not just the silver disk.

So the scale display goes berserk for a moment while it is shutting down because you are pressing on the scale.

Additionally it automatically shuts down if you forget to turn it off.
