Just hold the device right up against the wheel and press the activate button and in a few seconds the tpms id for that tire sensor pops up on the display

I did not find an update on the ateq website for this model so i am trying to get tech support to advise on how to fix the problem

Update i was able to find the correct usb cable and get the latest update from the ateq website but the tool still will not read the 2017 sensors

Update 2 this tool will not work on 433 mhz sensors that came on my 2017 malibu

If you already have the codes from the tire dealer or your car dealer or past experiences you dont need the vt30 to swap out tires you just need the ateq quickset which can download and upload all the sensor codes at once from the car computer
