Bought this nailer as a gift for my nieces boyfriend. The recipient was thrilled with the brand and immediately took it out and learned everything about it. Bought it for my husband as a gifts. But suddenly it seems to jam up.
Great gun for baseboards and window trim. Works well and is pretty easy to use. However it works around the air compressor. Dewalt 18 gauge brad nailer works fantastic.
Cons
The locking mechanism for the unit i purchased did not work. Every time i use it to nail something, the force exerted by the nailer causes the lock to open up and i have to close it again so that the nails don't fall out. Par contre, if vous habitués ... Read More

It is not broken just loose so i drilled a small hole on the hook and attached it to the handle with a little piece of wire see pic

Not sur about maintenance free operation i put a drop of oil once in a while for the sake

It’s dewalt so you know it’s great and reliable but it did not come with the 500 free nails as the description said
