Turned tv back on and only the steady white light mode stayed on which now operates only in the white strobe mode

We installed a new battery in the remote to see if that was the problem but it didnt make any difference

It turns out that there is a minimum current required for these to work so even the remote does not operate unless the lights are plugged into a usb port with adequate current

It would have been helpful to know there is a current requirement for these to operate from the start to at the least understand a possible reason why they dont work instead of assuming a faulty product
