The denon dhts514 is a nice addition to any media room where you want a much better sound than the tvs internal speakers but ok not having a true surround sound system

Update 82215 after using this for a good 6 months i have to agree with other reviewers the dialog can get lost when in surround mode

Ive watched many movies with it and while it sounds great overall while in surround mode and theres background noise and dialog together the dialog can be difficult to discern

Things to keep in mindif you dont have arc hdmi on your tv connect component ps3 etc directly to soundbarensure audio settings in ps3 are set correctlyif you do not see 5

One thing to be aware of not a deal breaker for me is that bass level can not be directly adjusted through the remote and there isnt a smartphone app to do the same
