Pros

Hydrophobic design/materials holds some of the water back in the seed areas during the twice a day flush. Water twice daily and rotate the trays. Water goes through top to bottom tray, like a hydroponic system.

It is actually fun to watch the sprouts grow. Haven't had any problem with sprouts going bad or growing mold. If you're a sprout lover as i am, then this is for you.

Cons

The trays are designed as hydroponic. They are ineffective for broccoli (and, i assume, other) spouts because they don't provide good drainage.

This extra work defeats the whole purpose. Their patent is worthless.

Should come with a brush or a plate with little spikes or points that match up to the holes in the sprouter see photo

I then placed them on a layer of paper towels in sunny window for a couple of hours before storing them in a plastic bag in the fridge

One tip space out the seeds and spray some water with a squirt bottle on each level a few hours using the top waterer
