Biggest issue was the wiring chart was incorrect

I followed it exactly and got no sound out at all

On my tele i had to drill out all of the potentiometer holes on the metal plate so the new ones would fit and had to drill out the control knob holes too shafts were thicker

And the hole on the jack plate had to be drilled out more to take the new output jack

Just be careful that the control cavity on your tele is deep enough the 4way switch sits pretty deep and i had to rout an additional 18 out of one end of the control cavity so the control plate would sit flush without the switch bottoming out in the cavity
