I could measure the current signal strength using the tuning menu on my new tv but with some old coax cables

I read all the enthusiastic reviews and how these cables improved picture quality but as a retired computer engineer who in service life had dealt with the transmission of high frequency signals i took it all with a pinch of salt

You either have a signal if the 1s get through doesn’t matter if they’re weak just as long as they get through they can be decoded to give you picture and sound
