Very impressed with the sound for this price

Build quality is excellent as others have noted

I bought a dt cs8040hd center channel to go with the four sm45s but the sound was tinny and very very thin from that center speaker

Within a week or two i was used to and happy with the new sound

It helps that i got them for a great price 99 each but really they are worth the msrp

Bottom line for the price i couldnt be happier

Im happy i was able to build replacement system from used components if i were to buy everything for a full price i would probably regret
