These new pads fit on easily - they are circular to start with. You have to push them in a little as you go around the ring pressing down for the adhesive to stick to the slightly oval base. M adhesive is strong.
These replacement pads are totally compatible. These are a pair of replacement ear pads that i purchased for my cowin e7 headphones.

When you receive them you will see that there is a ring of tape on the back side

Remove the tape from the back of the new ones and push them into the headset frame

I did use a small flat screwdriver to push the edge below the little 34knobs34 so the tapebase was flat against the headset
