Pros

The laminated and waterproof mdf wood looks real and is very pretty. The surface is grainy and is waterproof, fireproof and scratch resistant.

Free standing legs attach very securely to the leg brackets. It is pretty sturdy and does not wiggle at all.

It is true to the sizing online, 55 inches across, and about 24 1/2 inches in width. The 55 inch sandlewood version looks great and is very sturdy.

Cons

The hardware flub and poor quality control tarnish its appeal.

I love the desk but the size of the shipping package made it difficult to handle and not just for me

The shipping and handling left something to be desired though

Packaging/appearance

It was well packaged and easy to take out of the box

What i dont like is some of the packaging materials used

The little plastic bag that held the 8 screws for attaching the legs was torn open and the screws loose in the box

But it definitely isnt going to look like it belongs in a highend home either

This desk arrives flat packed and its pretty heavy at almost 50lbs
