I can check in via phone sure but i can also check in visually and make sure all is well or no inappropriate movieswebsitesetc are being viewed type stuff

Its not the same as a video call because he gets a view of what is really going on at home vs the kids just being goofy and silly with the phone because they know its dad calling

It was fairly easy to set up i did have to do a reset because it wasnt accepting the preset password so i would set my own

The reset fixed it though and i realized i had skipped a step in the first setup which may have caused the error when you first connect via the app theres an alert triangle that needs to be clicked on under the picture for the camera

Night vision will feel like its not working but it just needs a minute to switch views done automatically and then its a fairly decent black and white

I havent noticed a battery drain on our phones but we stop the app when not in use so its not running in the background
