This floor lamp casts a very bright lite over my whole sewing table. The design ensures great lighting with minimal shadows.

The brushed metal finish is far superior in appearance to some of the plastic lamps i've seen. I already own the daylight lamp that attaches to a table and love it. I have 2 of the ones that clamp on and now i have this floor stand model.

This isn't near as bulky and awkward to adjust since it has a gooseneck instead of arms and bolts. The swing arm is effortless. Not too heavy to move from one area to another.

It is easy to assemble, turn on, and modify the angle of illumination. It's simple to adjust the height and reach of the lamp for my seating situation. Easy to assemble.

Cons

Makes no sense to purchase a lamp that is this expensive only to throw it away when the bulb burns out.
