Pros
Overall, recommended. The pieces feel flimsy but they do the job. Durable and perfect price.
Installed horizontally for my purpose. Only negative is that the two pieces start splitting once the screws are tightened all the way.
Works exactly as advertised. Love the flexibility of the cable. It is a specialty plate, that is why it is 5 times more than a regular plate.
Cons
The faceplate is cheesy and comes in two pieces. The plate separates in the middle when mounted to a standard low voltage bracket. It makes for a very unsightly seam.

I discovered that my finished basement ceiling covered up the fuse for the old doorbell which was broke so we were unable to reach it

The only thing i want to point out is that the connector between the two sides is very flimsy

Make sure you only put light pressure to unhook the 2 pieces as it will break
