I use it through rear window which is tinted still good video night vision ok in well lit areas

Just one issue and i see others have mentioned it it fell off the window after a little whilei solved this by gluing the device to a plastic disk then stuck the disk to the window with double sided sticky tape it did the job but shouldnt have had to do it in the first place hence 4 stars

Luckily we had a similar one before as the instructions are in such small print that they are unreadable
