Pros & Cons

Pros

The cherry mx blue switches are neither a pro nor a con, because that's based entirely on personal feel. I'm not sure they actually are; but the black glossy plastic makes it seem that way. This one replaces a 7 year old rosewill model, also with cher...  Read More

This new one is sturdy and feels tough. This keyboard is no-frills and a little pricey but worth it if it holds up. I love the style, it is not over the top but still a * modern keyboard.

Because you feel the button and it becomes almost subconscious after using for awhile. It is easy to push lighter keyboards around while just typing.

I wish this keyboard had backlighting. Lettering on the deck and keycaps is high quality and bright. Only complaint is that the key decals wear fast.

Great feel. Good sound. No mushy zero-travel semi-keyboards.

Cons

The build quality on the 5q is lackluster. The shielding on the usb cable seems to be inferior quality. The usb socket is too close to a hdmi cable. The warranty is only one year.

This is the one that irritates me the most. only used this for 1½ years, packed it carefully, then moved.

The click sound is just too distracting when i'm working at night. Seemed like a heavy duty clicky keyboard. Keyboard itself has nowhere near the tactile feedback or sound of a real ibm keyboard.
