In hindsight i probably could have left this fence disconnected from the charger and just bluffed him with a dead wire

They keep the electric wire extended out from the posts and chain link so there is no contact with the hotwire and the fence

Doesnt stick out much either so it didnt make our backyard look any worse than it already did

I use them both with the included metal clamp to go around metal tubing of a fence as well as without the clamp by screwing it directly onto a tree
