Pros & Cons
Pros
This has to be the best teak oil i have bought. Piece of cake. Gave nice depth to colour.
Sanded down with 240 grit, 120 grit. No sticky residue when applying a small amount of oil at a time and working it into the wood. Two coats of oil and the grain of the wood has come up beautifully.
It’s not the easiest oil to apply but a little goes a very long way. Applying it is very easy just dab it on spongeuntil it's fully covered. It only takes a few minutes to put on and i usually leave it overnight to soak in.
If you follow the online instructions it works very well. The owner of parr's is very helpful talking you through the process. Instructions on the bottle are a little difficult to read but then it's fairly obvious how to use the oil!
Cons
Smells like stale cakes and is about as useful. It already needs another coat after one month. Every time you clean worktop it all comes off on the cloth.
