Pros

It isn't flimsy at all. It's sturdy, lightweight, and she was thrilled that it was exactly like the one she had back in the 70s. This mixer is super for tighter spaces.

The egg beater was made of very lightweight material and felt flimsy. It has no weight / heft to it. Appears to be well made, but is not.

The only thing actually stainless steel are the beaters themselves and they are thin and flimsy. The description, stainless steel blades with chrome handle, and the photo make it look as if the whole thing is chrome plated metal. The product rusts aft... Read More

The handle and crank and gears are plastic. This is a problem with the design--there are no bearings in the system. The shaft for the main crank/gear simply goes through holes in the frames.
