These are truly a beautifully crafted set, built for and crafted for those with appreciation of fine cutlery. Made in the damascus style of layering steel. Design with the damascus layering is stylish, unique for the set, and artistic.
Great customer service. The knives themselves are fantastic. The company itself is pretty amazing.
Classy yet classic working knives. Looks so stunning my guest notice them from a far. These knives are great so far.
Cons
Marketing is deceptive. Pattern has no contrast as shown in the pictures where they appear gray/silver like genuine folded steel. Handle is also a bit large for the height of the blade and your knuckles will hit the cutting board with the santoku in p... Read More

My only issue: i wish the sheaths had been included, didn't notice till they arrived that there are no sheaths with the block sets.
Anyway, beautiful knives, seem well made, love the sharpness and quality.

The smaller blades, 6 and the paring knife have a much smaller handle, really too small for my female hands, maybe i'll get accustomed to the small diameter.

I went back to metal knives after trying ceramic ones as i found they chip and stain rather easily.

I would ask dahlstrong to maybe consider adding an option to get the block or sheaths so that we can chose which is more practical for us.

So and update after sending an email to dahlstrong they responded quickly and are sending me 3 of the knife sheaths for free.
