It seems like it will not slide on the counter and it seems that dough will not stick

I have use a mat before however it was thicker and as a result it didn’t lay flat without some effort

I had an old plastic baking mat that i used for years for rolling out dough but age and wearandtear took their toll and it cracked

Even when the dough needs more flour it doesnt stick as bad as it did when i was just using parchment paper
