My concern and the reason for 1 star is that the bottom plate is thin steel with a cosmetic finish

Tried to replace it with another similar feeder when our old one finally wore out but birds left put this feeder back up and the birds came back immediately

Like the bottom as this newer model has vent holes and the bottom allows birds to sit while feeding from the bottom tray

The first feeder i received had the hanging wire rope come disconnected from the feeder when i tried to hang it the first time
