Good news if it is removed from outlet i can replug it back in and it relinks to my wifi signal without the trouble of starting from scratch

I ended up purchasing a tplink router and extender to see if that rectifies my needs

Sometimes ill find my phone to be connected to the extender but have no active internet connection
