But only one usb port ive been looking for something that might spilt the usb link to two pc so that when one shuts down it links to the other and shuts that down but im not sure if this hardware thing a iogear gub211 will do it support says in theory which is a bit one way or the other

The software for the usb is simple they could if they wanted to make it so one pc is the master and another pc links to the software over the network with the usb link to the ups but likely will never happen plus doing that securely is another thing

Something people might not know is when the ups shuts down when its out of power is that its not completely out of power if you unplug your devices you can turn it back on and charge your phone for over a hour not sure if i should do that as there is likely a good reason there is still power left when it powers off

The power panel software says that it is only just over 50 load and can keep the system running for about 30 minutes in a power fail if necessary
