Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy enough to setup, but not for the faint of heart. Installation is a breeze, and the longevity of these units is impressive. Pros:-consistency-reliability-easy to use.
The cyberpower cp1500pfclcd pfc sine-wave ups system is an investment you won't regret. The pure sine wave is definitely worthwhile; without it you occasionally run across equipment that doesn't like being plugged into a ups. Living in florida means d... Read More
This particular model of cyberpower (model cp1500pfclcd) is feature packed, has robust backup power and runtime - and runs cool as a cucumber while doing it. It's a sleek tower design that can easily hide under a desk or blend in with your entertainme... Read More
Cons
It seems like crapping customer service to me. This thing basically lies to you, making you think you're protected when you're not. It probably will always be impossible to return these if purchased on amazon.
Lost power in home - and unit instantly shuts off. Building has backup generator which kicks on after 10 seconds of no power. Thick grounded plugs like from a power supply or gaming console barely fit next to each other.
These horrible pos ups can't even keep a few devices on for 10 seconds. When the battery dies, the unit won't alert the user that the battery is dead.
The worst part is that they use glue that degrades and becomes conductive over time in their units! I understand batteries degrade over time.
The mute button on the front does nothing. The unit is under 3 years of warranty from the date of purchase. Since it was purchased way back in 2018 the unit warranty has been expired.

I do a lot of coding and leave code running for hours but if the power gets interrupted for even a second i lose all that progress
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Of course the battery wont power the computer forever but when its on battery mode it beeps loudly to let you know that its time to save your progress and turn off the computer

If the power interruption is brief then you can just keep on working like nothing happened
