So when i first installed this it was a perfect fit so i was happy right away some of the reviews i read said it doesnt work with the toshiba satellite because toshiba uses a proprietary battery but other reviews said it worked fine for them so i tried it anyway

This worried me and i thought i got a piece of crap battery that used up its charge quicker than the charger could charge it up

Apparently when i first restarted the computer after plugging in the charger it was too low on charge to stay running while it was that low and needed to charge up first

I usually dont use my notebook away from my desk or otherwise off the charger but i did for test purposes and get about 23 hours on battery when i am working uploading photos and using an online sketch program
