Pros & Cons
Pros
This salad spinner is great! Salad is fresh and crisp everytime! Buy the head of lettuce and wash it thoroughly yourself. This is the safest way to clean lettuce.
Its base is sturdy and there is a rubber footing to keep it from slipping. I love that it locks on the sides so that i can easily drain water after giving herbs and veg a good vinegar-water soak.
This is so useful. It works like a charm. It functions as expected.
Cons
Lid isn't the same as the previous generation and it wobbles. Plastic bowl is the weakest, most brittle plastic i've ever seen. Plastic is very flimsy.
This salad spinner from cuisinart cracks easily. The green basket deforms easily in the dishwasher which prevents the tip from securing correctly. Not dishwasher safe.
