We tested it against the standard dial thermometers and it did perfectly

I always use one when deep frying chicken thats probably when i find it the handiest because i can quickly go from piece to piece nugget to nugget to check for the proper temperature

Amazon shipped this and i recently received it in two days even though it was the christmas rush

When i got it and took it out of the box there were three leds on the transmitter unit that were not working

I could not read the temperature on the transmitter however i could read the temperature on the receiver

Instead of returning the whole thing to amazon i called cuisinart and left a message on their voicemail system
