The peppers do need to be in a certain size range -- too large and they don't fit.

Too small and they fall through (though you could put foil around them to help them stay if you wanted to).

This is a one off product, so if you don't like grilled pepper or don't make them a lot, this product is not for you.

This rack doesn’t position correctly between the grill wires on our older model weber grill—i think it is a standard size.

The tray is not wide enought to hold an entire slab.
