Pros

The cuisinart is a great value. The lid has dimples plus a metal lid knob. Even when using fabric pot holders or as i prefer silicone clam shaped holders.

If you need to cook a sizeable roast or chicken or simmer a large quantity of soup or stew - this dutch oven is for you. It fits my 12-inch induction cooktop perfectly for searing and dutch-oven cooking.

The pil is great for atir fry. At the moment the cuisinart interior still looks like knew after a few years of use. This dutch oven is about 1/4 of the price of the top of the line pan and still gets rave reviews.

Le creuset and staub are top notch. Yet the cuisinart outside after a few years of use looks a little more used.

Cons

Two years later this is very scratched up and a large piece of enamel chipped from where the screw is inserted into the lid. Had to use a scrubby pad to clean the egg from the pan. All that was stuck to the pan inhad to scrape up.

The skillet handle is so short it barely fits my hand. The depth of the ridges of the pan are only medium deep, not the 5 mm that good pans need. No where on this amazon listing says how much this thing weighs.
