The quality was very good would recommend this product.
Good quality product which i’m very pleased with.
I already have a top quality protector but decided to add this one so i can have a changeover during washing .
This fitted the bed perfectly, even with the bed having deep sides.
Price
Although a little more expensive, the extra cost is justified, nice and cool to sleep on and very well made.
Packaging/appearance
Comfortable to lie on and doesn't feel hot or stifling, which you will get with polyester.

It is cotton both sides and a stretchy nylon type edge which goes around mattress well.

But that might present an issue for some people looking for the entire product to be made 100% of cotton.

It would not be waterproof as it is not plasticy.

After reading reviews saying some people were sent a cheap polyester version i ordered this directly from cuddledown's online shop instead of amazon.

Dryers are bad for cotton so it's best to dry outside but not excessively jot sunshine.
