The only thing that bothered me was that the part that goes through your ear is particularly thick so it hurt to put in but my ear will get used to it eventually

The bar is very short but thats what i needed it lays flat against the front and back of my ear never gets caught on anything

I thought this was same gauge as regular earrings just with a screw back
