Pros

Crown xls 1002 amp is a 2 space rack unit (2u) the sound quality is night and day compared to my old amp, dynamic range is crisp, bright, wide and clean. All three amps perform flawlessly. The class d amplifier house the sound of $1500 amps.

It produces a very clean, undistorted crisp sound. The crown fans increase in speed based on how much output it's cranking out. No fan noise. No hiss or hum.

Amazons pricing for these amplifiers is a bargain. The binding posts are unmatched at this pricepoint. It also has a 3 yr warranty!

The crowns push out what they claim and they do so effortlessly. I finally feel the towers are being powered the way they should be. Units works as described.

Cons

No rubber feet or mounting pads to place it on a shelf. As far as rack mounting, no manufacturer specs as to what rack mounting set back is required, to protect the face of the amp. This experimentation is left up to the end user. No punch in the lowe... Read More
