The lid on this model is spring loaded and we leave it open when we have visitors or the bathroom will be in use to minimize any stress on the spring/plastic links and locking mechanism. Easy to open and close, and to change out the bag.

Recommend for rv owners. Like an rv. This trash can is the perfect size for our rv bathroom. Will be using this in our 5th wheel trailer this summer.

It is compact but holds a surprisingly large amount of trash. Works well with small trash bag as a liner. Not only is it small it's sturdy, nice looking and easy to change the bag.

Cons

It’s just kinda * how much you have to manhandle this thing to keep it together. Don’t recommend two in one trash can due to the lid inefficiency.
