The blanket feels a little rough on removal from the packaging it softens up beautifully after its first wash

This blanket was heavier than expected but since its quilted its not as warm as a flannel blanket

Its not made the same way as cotton bed sheets and its not going to look pristine the way it comes when it pops out of the package after its first wash so dont expect that or youre going to be disappointed

It did shed a lot when i first washed and dried it had to empty the lint screen in my drier twice during one drying cycle

I purchased a blanket from target for the same price that i quickly had to return it because it was paper thin and i could tell it was going to catch and pull threads on everything

The instructions that come with it say that it gets softer with every wash but it doesnt
