I wouldnt recommend this but you can even leave it in your laptop while closed and there isnt a noticeable difference in the closing mechanism

The lid does not awkwardly stand out and you dont feel any give when closing the screen

From my observations there isnt much contactforce but over time the screen may succumb to the minute pressure
