Overall great product & value - recommend buying it. Finish product is great, if your not handy, hire a professional for this product.

Now push the outer chimney back to the ceiling and support with clips. The current one has removable stainless steel valences that cover the hanging mechanism.

The cosmo 668ics900 36 in is a ducted island range hood. Our current vent hood had an 8-inch duct; this one has a 6- inch duct. My cosmos exhaust fan is very nice, guiet, and efficient.

Might be nice to have a warmer light and a dimmer function for the light. I know you can change the bulbs, but i would prefer if the control panel let you change the brightness of the light just like it lets you changed the fan speed. The price is unb... Read More

Cons

Once installed the control panel was broken loose from inner cabinet. It's touch screen requires multiple pressing to turn on. Duct came damaged waiting 4 months for a replacement. The protective wrap is impossible to remove fully.

The mounting plate has pre drilled screws at irregular spacing requiring custom framing. Smoke will simply divert around the edges, completely defeating the purpose.

The blue that shows on the website is protective wrapping only

Half the cook hood chimney was severely dented and not repairable

This hood came packed nicely as to not come damaged however other peoples reviews about the horrible blue thin protector was spot on

Put dented side out of view… nice product just sorry it was dented
