Pros

It has a volume control wheel on the handset and a lever on the side to mute the ringer or enable it. It’s ringtone is loud but not deafening which i like and it does not scare other members of the family or the dog by being obnoxious.

This phone is exactly what you want for a wall-mount plate like the one specified in another review. Once the confusion is out of the way, this is a great phone. Would highly recommend.

It feels very solid. It has solid-feeling pushbuttons. It isn't as heavy as the old western electric phones with their big transformers. Just a little heavy.

The spring doesn't have enough guts to return the hookswitch to the off position. Don't waste your time.
